What good is a song if it is kept in the head
If the writer who's creating is suddenly dead
If it is not written down in 'notes and word'
What good is the song that will NEVER be heard

What good is the dinner on the table to share
if there are no diners to fill" an empty chair
The food is soon stale it will be thrown away
seems your time and effort was WASTED this day

What good is a Bible, If you've opened it not
another unused book, is all that you've got
only books that are opened can fill up a mind
when read and deciphered a 'treasure' you find

What good is a bell if that bell does not toll
it's like silent treasure, it's like fools gold
no message is there so no value does it bring
with it's clapper missing how can a bell ring

What good is your money made of paper and ore
If it is all hoarded away what good is it for
Money that is socked away only rots, yes, decay
the value you 'keep' is; What you give away...
