When the Roman Catholic Church translated the New Jerusalem Bible from a Masoretic Text
in which six different variants of YHWH occur,
not one of which is "Yahweh",
could anyone legitimately consider that deception.

The English spelling Yahweh occurs about 6523 times in the New Jerusalem Bible
yet "Yahweh" in Hebrew occurs "O" times in the Underlying Masoretic Text,
from which the Old Testament of the NJB was translated.

Could you remind us again what Hebrew Bible was used by your Sacred Name Cult,
in which the Hebrew name "Yahweh" occurs in, even one time?

What Hebrew support actually does exist for the English name "Yahweh"
We can't really include Gesenius's proposed Hebrew spelling "Yahweh", as Hebrew support for "Yahweh".
He merely placed the vowels "a" and "e" found in the Samaritan "Jave" into YHWH.

Have you ever noticed that no matter how many sources inform us;
that "Jehovah" has the same vowel points as "Adonay" / "Adonai" has.
Jehovah still does not have the same vowel points
as does Adonay / Adonai"

Are you aware that I have a 4-volume Hebrew Bible titled The Interlinear NIV Hebrew-English-Old-Testament (NIVIHEOT)

The Old Testament in this (NIVIHEOT) is a Masoretic Text
[Note! Masoretic Texts Are Hebrew Scriptures that have vowel points.]

The Old Testament of the King James Bible is translated from the Ben Chayyim Hebrew Text of 1525 A.D.
The Ben Chayyim Hebrew Text is a Masoretic,
thus it has vowel points.

Most every other English Bible that has been translated since about 1900,
is translated from some form of the Leningrad Codex of 1010 A.D.
The Leningrad Codex is a Masoretic Hebrew Text that has Vowel points.

In fact, there are 6 variants of YHWH in the Leningrad Codex.
All six of these variants are different, but none of these variants is YAHWEH.

Thus although in the English portion of my interlinear bible YAHWEH occurs 6823 times,
not even once does Yahweh occur in the underlying Hebrew.

Would you please ask the House Of Yahweh where the Hebrew Word "YAHWEH" comes from?

The first Hebrew word at the upper left is the unpointed Tetragrammaton.
The 4 Hebrew words on the bottom line all have vowel points,
and are all found in Hebrew Scriptures that have vowel points



The Hebrew word underneath "Scriptures" [in red font] is Yahweh written with vowel points.
This Hebrew word YAHWEH is found in no extant Hebrew Text.
This Hebrew form of YHWH is a "presumed" punctuation of YHWH
proposed by the Hebrew Scholar Gesenius in about 1815 A.D.

In fact the House of Yahweh link above appears to show clearly that God's name is "Yahweh"

I am going to spend a little time re-evaluating this issue.

Would God use the NIVIHEOT to teach the Christian World that His name is "Yahweh",
and not "JEHOVAH".

Would God preserve the Leningrad Codex,
[from which the BHS text has been derived,]
to demonstrate to the Christian World that His name is not "JEHOVAH" .

The Masoretes preserved 6 different Hebrew spellings of YHWH in the Leningrad Codex,
onle one of which was "JEHOVAH",
and that variant occured less than 50 times,

and to be redundant,
none of the six variants of YHWH was "Yahweh".

Just in passing,
children in Israel today are taught to read modern Hebrew,
which has no vowel points,
BUT
I don't believe that any Jewish person claims to be able to read the Biblical Hebrew Tetragrammaton,
which also has no vowel points.

We are led to believe that no unbroken Jewish oral tradition exists.

Obviously the controversy about the pronunciation of the Biblical Hebrew Tetragrammaton,
would be over if the Jewish people acknowledged that they could read this Biblical Hebrew Word,
that has no vowel points in the oldest manuscripts.

Biblical Hebrew words without vowel points are obviously pronounced in many synagogues.

Members of some Sacred Name Ministries claim that the Biblical Hebrew Tetragrammaton can be pronounced
because it is composed of four vowel letters.

They claim it is pronounced "ee-ah-oo-eh" which favors "Yahweh".
