Evangelist William R. Bradley, a KJV-only
advocate, wrote: "Jesus called a translation from the Hebrew Old Testament into Greek 'the scriptures' (Luke 24:44-45) and 'the word of God' (John 10:35). This translation was called the 'Septuagint,' which in the Greek language means 'seventy'" (TO ALL GENERATIONS: THE STORY OF THE BIBLE, p. 40). |
