I am so excited! I went to amazon.com and looked up a book I absolutely loved when I was a kid. It only crossed my mind the other day to see if I could get a copy of it.
When I was a kid, our school library had only one copy, and I checked it out whenever I could, which wasn't easy because it was so popular that it was always checked out by the other kids.
When I finally got to check it out and take it home, I copied the entire book by hand, including all the illustrations (I still have this hand made book somewhere). That is how much I loved this book!
I can order it through amazon, but it will cost anywhere from $50 - $70 -- it's been out of print for some time now. (A rarer edition costs up to $150.)
It will be worth the price. This book totally rules! After the Bible this is the greatest book of all time. :)
