You want the real kicker? I've been to numerous websites and have never seen this little 'Prophecy' Riplinger made. This is really, really incredible.

Ms. Riplinger also tries to predict when Jesus' second coming will occur.1 'Is it a coincidence that God closed the Old Testament canon 389 years before his second coming. And now, he gives us the KJV in these last days, in the world's universal language, 389 years before his second coming in the 6000th year (My Note: 389+1611=2000) The 4000th year Christ came for the first time. The fourth day he created the sun, a type of Christ. The 7th day God rested, prefiguring his millennial reign during the 7000th year.'

She predicted that the Second coming would happen in the year 2000 A.D.. This did not happen! Ms. Riplinger says the following, 'The New King James Version and the New American Standard Version are in poor rallying with, not only these two cults [Jehovah's Witnesses and Worldwide Church of God] but the New Age.11 Does not Ms. Riplinger not know that she herself is in poor rallying with those two cults, and the New Age movement? They have innumerable predictions that never came to pass.

The Bible speaks repeatedly of false prophets claiming they have received messages from God.

Jeremiah 14:14
'Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of naught, and the deceit in their heart.

Jeremiah 23:26
'How long shall this be in the hearts of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Deuteronomy 18:20-22
But the prophet which shall presume to speak a word in my name, Which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath spoken?
When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him

Do you see what they did to a prophet who made just one false prophecy? They killed him. Now, I am by no means saying we should take Ms. Riplinger outside the city walls and stone her. However, the Bible strongly condemns false prophets, and clearly shows that it is considered worthy of death. Lest any say, 'She is not speaking in the name of God. here is a statement made by Ms. Riplinger when asked why she put her name as G.A. Riplinger on the front of the book. 2 'Each discovery was not the result of effort on my part, but by the direct hand of God-- so much so that I hesitated to even put my name on the book. Consequently, I used G.A. Riplinger, Which [sic] signifies to me God And Riplinger -- God as author and Riplinger as secretary.' This one fact throws out all credibility of the book. To claim God wrote the book is, to me, mind-boggling. It is probably the worst written and hard to read book I have ever come across. The grammar is awful, and capitalization and editorial mistakes abound. The book is, ironically, the exact opposite of what Ms Riplinger claims it is. It is an emotionally-fog ridden book.
