What is wrong with these KJVOnly fundies? I have always called myself a fundament but never again. . It seems to be a bad word now. These folks must be crazy. I have never seen such ridiculous garbage in my life. I prefer the KJV and that is what I will stick to but these folks are on a witch-hunt against anything they dont agree with. Now one guy on one of the popular Yahoo KJV boards says he doesnt believe in Christmas. Give me a break. Thank God for separation of Church and State. If they would stop reading these christian books and start reading their bibles, they might learn something. All the poison that is coming out of their writing (particularly one person you know of) is just unbelievable and this out of the denomination I love so very much. Sister, Its sad times were living in when the cult is springing out of the most simple and conservative denomination in the world. Sign of the times I guess.

I ain't Kristi(I'm bald;she aint) but I'll answer best I can. These people,many of whom are sincere Christians,have been deceived by one or more of the charlatans who promote KJBOnlyism for a variety of reasons-to sell books,to wield an influence over their proselytes,to play big-shot,et al. While the devil cannot touch their salvation,he can,and does,try to limit their effectiveness in witnessing and preaching by having them limit God's word to just the one 400-yr.old version. When asked to please provide SCRIPTURAL proof for their otherwise-clueless position,they often go ballistic in 0.4 seconds.Why? The Scripture to substantiate their position is found in the pouch of the North American kangaroo. Kristi,and a host of others will provide you a much better explanation than I have here.
