I am in complete agreement. However I would like to include a few other points which I will take the liberty to insert with lower-case letters to avoid confusion. I hope WW doesn't mind.

a) He communicated His authority through His chosen eye/ear witnesses, the Apostles and prophets.

2) He communicates his authority through his [(b) Apostles and prophets who spoke and wrote His] Word, the Bible.

(c) The offices of Apostles and prophets who spoke with authority as those who wrote the Scriptures are closed offices. No such authorities have lived since they died, and none are alive today.

3) The autographs were the pure and perfect version of his Word.

4) God preserved his Word by providing us with numerous manuscripts.

5) The minor variations in the manuscripts do not present an issue in relation to the authority or veracity of God's Word. I base my faith and practice on the whole counsel of the Word, therefore any variation at a given point will not lead me astray.

6) I have yet to find issue of faith or practice where I was confused because of the variations in the text.

Exactly. Look at what the Israelites did with the serpent on the bronze pole that Moses made to save them from the bite of death. Generations later they worshipped it! The reference is below:

What is even sadder, however, is that your version is not perfect in the sense that you mena it to be, even though you want to insist that it is. It is sad that you believe in something that doesn't even exist, and you don't have any reason to believe it, but believe it you will. Sad, sad, sad.
