Non-King James Bible Believers want facts. That is why they ask semi-intelligent questions like: (1) where does it state in the KJB that God said His words were preserved there? (2) where was the KJB before 1611? (3) Which revision of the KJB is the real one?
Those questions, and others like them, were hatched in hell and that is were they will be stored for all eternity.
IMHO, those who do not accept the King James Bible as God's words do not want a final authority in their lives, and reject anyone or thing that attempts to bring such upon them.
It is much easier for them to run to different translations until they find the answer that meets their preconceived theology. The homosexuals did this with the context of Gen. 18, and preach therefore, that the context of Gen. 18 is inhospitality and homosexual rape. That way it is ok to be homosexual, as long as you do not rape someone of like gender to satisfy the craving. See how easy it is!
