If someone got a hold of that Bible today and said, "Well, God said it in my KJB, and that settles it for me!", how would you persuade them that their KJV was wrong before they went out to ahem "obey God's command?" O:-)

O:-)>> Assuming this is true, the verse obviously is a contradiction (not just a difference) to other scriptures. Any honest person would know that was a typo if they did any investigation. Though you have not given any of the context, even assuming what you suggest is correct, many of the KJV translators were still alive to catch that typo and prevent it from spreading into subsequent printings. Next time Jewel Smith, or one of the other guys with Bible collections, is in town, I'll check that out. How is this any less a contradiction than Ex. 20:13 (KJV), which gives an absolute prohibition against killing, and Ex. 21:12 (KJV) in the very next chapter, which states that killers are to be put to death?
