History/Origins of the Christian Reformed Church

I am just wondering if anyone knows the origins of the CRC church. That is the denomination of the church I am attending.

I want to know where Christian Reformed originates from because I really like this church (having not attended any church for about 20 years-until recently this one).

I want to make sure it's "kosher" if you know what I mean because I don't want to go to another church; but...

Yuku added new 'video' ads. These are highly annoying, and kill bandwith, especially once you get two or more in the same page. I've purchased another month of freedom from ads, but here's a trick to block those videos from showing up on other boards you visit where they haven't paid for ad-free usage:

1. use Firefox
2. Under "Tools" menu, select "Add-ons"

Question about theological education

I am convinced I want to pursue on-line Christian education, primarily to learn more about scripture. I have a liberal arts BS and a MPA, but no theological education at all. This is my question: Could I go straight into master's level courses w/ no prior theological education, or would I be in over my head?
